How to Start Your Own Business

Instructors: Robyn Laur Russell & Greg Bouhl

This two-hour informational seminar covers the basic requirements of starting your own business including legal structure, startup requirements, finding financing, and business planning basics. A $10 materials fee is charged to cover the cost of a business startup kit, which includes a newly updated Business Plan Workbook, a Business Startup Checklist, and a copy of the presentation slides. Also be sure checkout some of our additional classes, such as "Finding Financing" which immediately follow selected How to Start Your Own Business sessions.

Also in Spanish: Comenzando un Negocio en Illinois En estas dos horas del seminario cubriremos los requisitos básicos para iniciar tu propio negocio incluyendo: estructura legal, requisitos de inicio, buscando financiamiento y plan de negocios. Se cobrará una cuota de $10 para cubrir gastos del material proporcionado en su kit de negocios, que incluye, una guía de Plan de Negocios, una lista para el Inicio de su Negocio, y una copia de las diapositivas que serán presentadas en El seminario.
